My First Level 60!!

Hi,

Well, only playing a bit at a time, I've managed to get my first level 60! It's Mentalbrit of course. I've just been playing on her lately, and not any other character. Well, reaching max level isn't what it used to be. That's because she's only part way through the Revendreth campaign. No covenant choice yet, no unlocking World Quests. No pop up quests taking you to the main city to continue stuff. No nothing. Nope, got to complete the Campaign first.

Revendreth Campaign Progress

Well. I've done a lot since last time I posted. She finished Maldraxus, went into, and finished Ardnweald, and is now half way through Revendreth. I think the reason she got to 60 already was that she actually did one dungeon. This was soon after she got stuck for a campaign quest at level 52, and was determined that that would never happen in any other zone. BTW. I have no idea how level 48s who decide to start Shadowlands will make it to 53 before the end of Bastion. I guess they really have a to do a lot of side quests. 

I also got all my professions sorted out on all realms, except perhaps on Garrosh. They are all back to having reasonable professions now, and not dual gathering. I'll fix the Garrosh ones soon.

I need to finish the Revendreth Campaign on Mentalbrit now, but I might give Shadowlands a rest for a while, and level my lower level characters. There are so many that need to make it to level 50!!

Sidelined Again!!

Well, I did play quite a bit last week up until about Friday. Then I realized that my elbows are getting really hurt a lot playing on the iMac. The posture and setup just isn't right, and I've been googling computer elbow and gaming elbow and it's a real thing. I do wear my forearm braces when I play, but nothing seems to work right now. So, I'm giving it a rest for a few days to try and recover, and then I'm going to try and play on my laptop in a better setup and posture environment.

Anyway, what I got done last week was get all my below level 40 characters up to 40. I also got Insanebrit to 50, and into Shadowlands. I wanted to have a Tailor in Shadowlands to start leveling up the profession. Mentalbrit has Herbing/Enchanting, Lavabrit has Mining/Jewelcrafting, and Insanebrit has Tailoring/Enchanting. Insanebrit is in Bastion and is now level 52. It's amazing how little cloth is to be had in Bastion. Most of her cloth is from Mentalbrit. Mentalbrit completed Bastion and is questing in Maladraxus right now. Tons of cloth from Humanoid mobs in Maladraxus. She's now level 54.

I realize I have 3 Enchanting on Silver Hand right now. That just seems wrong. I might actually change Mentalbrit over to Inscription (I also have 3 Achemists), so that my two Enchanters are also Tailors.

After filling all the professions in on all characters, I see I still have some work to do. I still have too many characters with dual gathering on many realms.

Into Shadowlands!!

Yes. I bought Shadowlands last week, and have been playing it a bit. Not a great deal, just half an hour every now and again because of my elbow issues. Some of my time was spent in Shadowlands, but a lot more was spent on sorting out all my old characters, and trying to get them all to level 40.

Let's talk about Shadowlands first. What are my initial impressions? I like it (well, I haven't got anyone to 60 yet so I can't talk about the grind at endgame, or the Maw, or Torgast or anything). I've only been to Bastion, but it's a very nice looking zone. I like the angel like look of the zone, and campaign questing is quite fun. I like having a linear path.

Lavabrit in Bastion

The only issue I've had with questing there so far was on my first character there, Mentalbrit. She was level 52 and approaching level 53, and suddenly the next campaign quest was grey. Yikes. But I realized she just needed to get to 53 for the quest to unlock. She just did a couple of other quests to get there.

Lavabrit is the only other character I've sent into Shadowlands so far. She's 51 and questing away as you can see in the picture.

What else. Well, getting all my professions on all characters sorted out, and leveling those less than 40, up to 40 (haven't finished that yet). The profession sorting out usually consisted of dropping one, picking up another, storing mats from the dropped profession in the guild bank. Storing the profession bag in the character's bank, and picking up the new profession. Oh, also, if they need another 28 slot bag, sending them to kill Totes in BFA and get the 28 slot bag drop.

Well Well..Playing Again

Hi,

I'm playing WoW again. Just a bit at a time on an old iMac because of my elbows, but I was intrigued by the latest Expansion. I re-subbed with a 6 month subscription. This is the first time I've actually paid for WoW for many years. It's because I can't really put in the time to make 120K gold each month. I just want to be able to level my alts, and not worry too much.

So, with the new leveling system, for all characters lower than 50, I'm sending them all into BFA. This just seems to make the most logical sense. The latest expansion and the latest materials for all professions etc. I'll give a rundown on all my characters and my leveling next Monday.

I'm planning to buy Shadowlands tomorrow, in December, as an early Christmas present. I can't wait to see what it's like.

Yes, I think I'm done play WoW because of my left arm issues. No more WoW for me. I have a new game now. It's Forge of Empires. It's a browser based City Building game and it's pretty perfect for me, as I loved Civilization too.

Well, It's 8.3 Day!!

Yep, it's 8.3 day. My elbows are still a problem, but I'll get in to start questing to unlock a Vulpera Warlock tomorrow. I'll play sparingly and hopefully I can get one up and running soon. I'll need to delete one of my Horde for that, but I'm OK with that. I've decided to delete Mageybrit, my Horde Mage. I'll also be interested to try out the new AH interface.

These are probably the only things in 8.3 I'm interested in. All that Tentacle stuff and corruption and all that doesn't appeal to me at all.

That's about it. I'll let you know how it goes next week.

BTW: Because of my elbow problems I've started playing another game - Forge of Empires. It may well be my game of choice from now on.

Stopped Playing Again!!

Yep, I've stopped playing again. It came after I did play quite a bit one day. The next day, my left elbow/forearm was sore and so I had to stop for a while. It was better when I only played for about 30 minutes at a time, but there you go, no more play for me for a while.
