12K Achievement Points!!

Hi,

I got to 12K Achievement points this week (on Alliance anyway :)). The one that did it was the Calligraphies one.

12K!!

As you can see, there are a couple of Reputation ones before that. They got me close. I think the reason I got to 12K this week was that I was playing my 120s a lot. More on that in the gold section.

Because I needed to play my 120s a lot this week, I didn't level as much as I'd planned. The game plan was to get characters to 76 (ready to hit Shloz Basin) and then set them to rested while the others all get to 76. I think the next jump will be to get them all to 80. I got most of them to 76, but my characters on Garrosh and Draenor didn't make it there yet.

No gearing up this week. Still no Staff rewards to be found from World Quests. Oh, but Flictionbrit did get to revered with the 7th Legion, and got her 5th champion. Nbornebrit only just got to revered with Honorbound, and she hasn't done the quests to get the 5th yet.

Now, why did I play my 120s a lot this week? That's because there were tons of 2k gold Emissary rewards this week. One across both factions. Then 2 more Alliance, and 1 more Horde. Missions kept the gold dribbling in too, but no selling of mats this week. On Garrosh, Voidbrit made it to 500k, so Shammybrit is the new funded character.

Paid for Flying!!

Hi,

Yep, all flying on all my leveling characters is now all paid up. They all have 280% flying now. I don't bother getting 300%, so that's it for using some gold on buying something. It's all incoming gold on all the characters now (except for buying Herbing and Mining in the various expansions).

They all got to level 70 pretty quick. Either doing the Warsong Hold and farm quests, or the Valiance Keep and farm quests. Then, the funded characters on the different realms sent them 4K gold so they could buy flying. 7 more characters just got flying. So that's a bit over 28K gold on flying this week.

After that, I worked on getting them all to 73 or 74 in Borean Tundra, and ready to go to Dragonblight. I got that done on 5 out of the 7 characters. I still have Lightbrit and Frostybrit on Garrosh to get to 73.

There were a couple of 2K gold Emissaries this week. There was a Tortolan one that meant 18K for my 9 120s. And, IIRC, there was another one for the Horde too. No selling of mats at all. I really need to get round to selling all the low level mats my characters have collected up to now. Maybe I'll do that when they all get to 80.

I still haven't got the 5th follower on Nbornebrit or Flictionbrit yet, and there haven't been any WQs with a Staff reward, which is really holding back their gearing up.

Nearly Done With Outland!!

Hi,

Yeah, I nearly got completely finished with Outland, but I still have one character (Frostybrit) who is level 65.

Frostybrit in Nagrand

All the others are level 68 and about to head to Northrend. I got them all to 64 in Zangamarsh, and then 64-68 in Nagrand. I did exactly the same quests on all of them, except for the Silver Hand ones who needed way less quests to get to 68. Once they all get to 70, I'll need to buy faster flying for all of them. This will put a little dent in the gold soon.

That's pretty much it. There was a 2K emissary for the Horde this week, but nothing for the Alliance. Also, no selling of mats at all. So very little gold came in at all. There was a little gearing up from World Quests to keep up with War Resources. Nbornebrit and Flictionbrit still have crappy Staves because I haven't seen any from World Quests and the right Timewalking hasn't come up since they got to 120.

All into Outland!!

Hi,

After all the leveling this week, I got all my characters to at least level 60. They all got basic flying, and they are now all primed to get to 68 and hit Northrend. I know that you can choose either, but with mining and herbalism, I have to got in the correct order because of the way herbs and ore work in those zones. I make sure they all hearth in Scryers Tier in Shattrath. I choose Scryers because it's easy to get your professions started for Outland there.

Zandybrit in Shattrath

Zandybrit started leveling in Outland and made it to level 62. Lightbrit and Frostybrit made it to level 60, but haven't hit Outland yet. With all my characters on Silver Hand in the 60s, it's going to take a long time to get everyone to 70. But that's the goal now. I'll see how far I can get on all my characters before 8.2 drops.

There was some gearing up on my 120s this week. I realized that they all hadn't visited Magni in Silithus to get their neck piece level up. So I make sure to do that. Then they got some higher level pieces from doing World quests to get War Resources, or for 2K emissary.

Taking of 8.2, I played the PTR a bit this week. They fixed the crashing getting to Mechagon, so I was able to play Mechagon a bit. It was just what I thought. Swarming mobs that take a lot to kill and so it's pretty horrible for casual players, and those who like playing on their own. Ahh well. I've got to do it to get flying, so I guess I've just got to suck it up.

That's pretty much it this week. There was some selling of stuff on Silver Hand, but nothing on other realms.
