In a Holding Pattern

Yep, and here's why.

I was happily crafting tons of upgrades for my crafted gear. Getting lots of mats using Primal Spirits and the base mats. Then it hit me. The lack of Sorcerous (Fire/Earth/Air/Water) is going to gate this heavily. I'm down to less than 30 of each, so I can't craft any more upgrades. I still have 40 more to go.

Where else can you get them? Primal Spirits. But it's 25 for one of them. That's a horrible conversion rate. And there's always the AH of course. But that would eat into getting to 1M gold. So, here's the plan. Get to 1M gold, then use extra gold after that to buy Sorecerous, and WoW Tokens.

What have I mostly been up to this week. Well, gearing up characters, getting achievements, and making gold.

For gearing up, the Muradin quest has been great. I'm making sure to run Walled City on all my lower geared characters when they get him, and even asked in Trade and went to get him from another Garrison. Here's Boomy about to kill Vulgor.

For achievements, a few things. I continued exploring, finishing off Eastern Kingdoms, and getting into Kalimdor. I tried Ulduar 25N, but failed miserably on Flame Leviathan. I don't know what I was doing wrong, but gave up really frustrated after a couple of miserable attempts. I guess I need to go look it up on wowhead or something. I didn't have a problem in 10H. Another thing was doing the quest to get one Battle Pet to 25. This netted 3 Achievements :)

For gold, I've been selling tons of mats, and trying to sell some gear too. I made a bit of mistake trying to become the monopolist on Raw Beast Hide, as people were driving down the price to about 1g50s. So, I bought up all lower than my 2g50s and reposted all at that price. Hardly any sold, and more people were putting up lower than 2g. Bought up again, and reposted, and eventually gave up. Banked most of it, but did manage to sell some of it later in the week for 2g each.

One other thing I did is got Flaying's Cooking to 700. Bought quite a few mats off the Trading post and got there pretty easily. I forgot to do First Aid, but will do it this week.

Let's see how the Master Plan is coming along.

Leveling: Get each one to 100. Counting 90-100. Out of 120.

All Done. 120/120 = 100%

Gearing: Get each character to 650. Counting 600-650. Out of 600.

Lots of gearing up this week. Now 523/600 = 87.17%

Crafted Gear: Get 3 pieces of fully upgraded gear on each character. Out of 144.

Did quite a few crafted upgrades. Now 104/144 = 72.22%

Professions: Get 2 professions on each character to 700. Counting each profession. Out of 24.

All done. Now 24/24 = 100%

Secondary Profs: Get all 4 secondary profs on Flaying to 700. Counting 600-700. Out of 400.

Cooking to 700 this week. 330/400 = 82.5%

Achievements: Get to 10,000. Out of 10,000.

Loads this week. Up to 8085/10000 = 80.85%

Guild Achievements: Get to 100. Out of 100.

Now complete at 100/100 = 100%

Gold: Get to 1M Gold on Flaying. Out of 1M.

A reasonable week. Up to 927,225/1M = 92.72%

Mounts: Get to 100 Mounts. Out of 100.

Got the Stormwind Flying Mounts I was missing. Up to 56/100 = 56%

Followers: Get 10 followers on each character to 670. Out of 120.

Getting more and more. 78/120 = 65%

Overall Plan progress = 83.64%

Gear upgrades definitely look like the long pole now, although they could go fast when I start spending gold.

The plan for this week is to get to 1M gold and start buying stuff for upgrades. Also to gear up more, Things are really moving now and I see the end of the Master Plan in sight.
