So Disappointed!!

Hi,

Gosh, can you believe it. They announced that they were upping the gold reward from Emissaries from 700g to 2k gold. Then, they had Tortolan and Tirigarde Sound ones pretty quick with 2k for them. But Horde didn't get one. And neither have Alliance, since the Tirigarde Sound one about 6 or 7 days ago. This seems like a big con from Blizzard. Oh, we'll give you 2k, but have them so rare that it will be the same amount of gold overall that you got before. So freakin' disappointed. I was looking forward to getting tons of 120s and doing those 2k when they were up. I might actually go back to Legion and do their emissaries instead.

Ok, I did get my 5th 120 this week. Voidbrit on Ghostlands made it to 120. So now I have 3 Alliance 120s and 2 Horde ones. When they get to 120, they don't do anything. Just wait for the 2k to pop up. No Warfronts (awful) or Island Expeditions (awful). I really don't know why I'm playing any more. I guess that there's flying to look forward to next year, and also Classic WoW. Nothing revealed about 8.1 sounds very exciting at all.

I did a lot of leveling on both Draenybrit and Voidbrit on Garrosh. Draenybrit made it to 117, is finished with Stormsong Valley, and is questing in Drustvar. Voidbrit made it to 104, finishing Azsuna, and is questing in Highmountain. I will try to get both these two to 120 next I think. Then I'll have three on Garrosh.

Now for gold. The mats that Draenybrit gathered really helped this week and helped Shammybrit get to 500k. So Priestybrit is now the funded character. So the base has gone up by 498k.

More Leveling!!

Hi,

I stopped doing the Hallow's Eve stuff this week. I just got bored with it and didn't think that getting enough Tricky Treats for 150 was really worth it. I'll just bank them, and maybe do more next year, if I'm into gold making at that time.

So, it was just leveling this week. Some news first. I presume you all saw that the Emissary rewards that gave 700g have been upped to 2k gold!! Amazing. I made sure to do that on my 4 120s when it was available, and decided that I need to get more 120s. So, my leveling switched from low level characters, to leveling in BFA. The idea is to get at least one or two more on Garrosh, and finally get Voidbrit to 120 on Ghostlands. To that effect, I leveled Voidbrit to 119. I leveled Voidbrit on Garrosh and got her to 102, Stabbybrit too, getting her to 107, and Draenybrit leveled a bit but didn't make it to 112 yet.

The other thing is, that with the way they do scaling now, it's actually better to not have better gear hitting a new expansion. Voidbrit made it into Legion and is having a really easy time by 1. Not getting the Timeless gear that had been saved for her. 2. Not putting any relics in her artifact. Boy, they've really ruined the leveling in Legion with what they've done to artifacts. Absolutely useless. But the extra gold from the relics and artifact power pieces is nice. Because of this fact too, I've decided to vendor all the Timeless and Baleful pieces I've been saving. They really nerfed the blue of the Baleful items, but the Timeless ones are worth a nice piece of change. That's probably why Timeless Isle is still pretty busy :)

Now for gold. The only real gold making this week was from continuing to sell old world mats on Voidbrit on Garrosh. I'll soon get back to selling BFA mats though. Gosh, WoD mats don't sell for practically anything any more :(

More Leveling!!

Hi,

Lots more leveling this week. I very nearly got Voidbrit on Garrosh to level 100, but only got to 99. She had fun doing Gorgrond, a bit of Talador, and lots of Spires of Arak, and is nearly finished in Spires. I hope to get the Skyreach quest before getting to 100 so she can actually queue for it :). Also, she's stared to AH all the stuff she's got along the way now, up to Pandaria mats, and made a few more thousand gold from that.

Beastybrit got to level 71 (still questing in Icecrown), and got gold from Shammybrit for faster flying. Lightbrit and Elfyvoidbrit both finished off Stranglehorn Vale and made it to Western Plaguelands. They are level 38 and 39. I also leveled Stabbybrit to level 106. She's questing in Highmountain right now.

My 120s did some more 700g emissary reward questing. This just provided a little more gold income.

Ahh, one other thing I did was to get going on the Hallows End quests on Felbrit (Garrosh). I want to get as many Tricky Treats as I can to buy pets that I can sell later. She also got a 335 ring from doing Headless Horseman :)

The other thing I did was continue to farm for Volatile Life on Draenor. Flayingbrit got to 200 this morning, so the 4 Hyjal Bags are ready to craft. The only thing left on Ghostlands and Draenor before  switching all professions is transmuting tons of others to Sorcerous Earth to sell on the AH. So my Alchemists on those realms are hitting their Garrisons.

Now for gold. I realized that there were some errors in the base values. I have more at 2K than I've listed in several realms. Also, because we don't need to pay for Pandaria flying any more, any character over level 70, once they've got 2K, can contribute.

Taking a Break!!

Hi,

What am I taking a break from?

Well, it's BFA. After getting Felbrit on Garrosh to 120 and getting my 4th level 120, I decided to swear off BFA and gold making for a bit, and level low level characters instead.

Why? You might ask. Well, BFA is pretty boring to me. No flying (yet). World Quest after World Quest. Gathering herbs and ore. Grind azurite. Gear up slowly. Meh.

So, with so many characters created already, I decided to level some of them. I might as well get some use out of them. Also, I don't really need gold at the moment, having paid for my time up until April next year with Tokens already.

I'm actually leveling Looneybrit and Bonkersbrit on Silver Hand, I'm leveling Stabbybrit, Voidbrit, Beastybrit, Elfyvoidbrit, and Lightbrit on Garrosh.

Voidbrit made the most progress, breezing trough Mount Hyjal and Uldum and getting to level 91 after getting to Draenor. One very pleasant surprise was that you don't have to pay for Pandaria flying any more, and get it as soon as you get there.

Looneybrit made it to 65, and Bonkerbrit made it to 36. Stabbybrit made it to 104, Elfyvoidbrit made it to 34, and Lighbrit made it to 36. The idea of leveling Stabbybrit is so that she can open all the lockboxes :)

The only BFA stuff I did this week was to keep a look out for the 700g emissary reward. I did this on all my 120s.

Pathfinder Complete!!

Hi,

Yay! Pathfinder Part 1 out of the way.

Tortollan Rep done - Pathfinder done!

I got Champions of Azeroth to Revered earlier this week, and only needed the Tortollan Emissary this morning to get them to Revered too. Yay! Now for Pathfinder Part 2 and Flying. Whenever the heck that might be. I really can't wait to be flying around BFA looking for Anchor Weed nodes :)

In other news, I got my 3rd level 120 this week. Lockybrit made it to 120 pretty early in the week. I would have got Voidbrit to 120 too, but the 118 War Campaign quests are really horrible, and I don't really want to do them on any other characters. So Voidbrit got to 118 and I haven't played her since.

So, I decided that my next 120 would be Felbrit on Garrosh, she's 119 now! I also leveled Dreanybrit on Garrosh too.  Garrosh really needs some love right now. Especially some gold making love. I also leveled Voidbrit on Garrosh a bit more, thinking that I need another Warlock to 120 there.

I continue selling Ore and Herbs on Silver Hand, Garrosh, and Ghostlands. The common herbs are staring to go for less that 20g each now, but Siren's Pollen is still higher, and the ore is higher too. It's great getting 5 or 6 herbs or ore from a node and thinking - there's another 100/120g :)

I haven't done any more Heroics or LFR or Warfront or anything. It's pretty much the first expansion that I haven't been bother doing the mid-level end-game stuff. Too much time gathering I guess :)

Leveling All Over!!

Hi,

Yes, I've been leveling my characters in BFA this week. I've been leveling Lockybrit and Voidbrit on Ghostlands, really getting into the Horde experience. They're both doing Vol'Dun now, and I'm really enjoying that zone. I know I said I parked Lockybrit in Orgrimmar, but that was silly. Elfybrit is now in Orgrimmar, handling all the auctions.

Lockybrit got to 116 this week, and Voidbrit got to 117. I hope to get them both to 120 soon.

I've also been leveling Felbrit on Garrosh. I realized that I wanted to make more gold on Garrosh because it's the realm I have the least gold on. Felbrit is leveling in Stormsong Valley and recently got to level 115.

On Silver Hand, Mentalbrit and Lavabrit are doing the Emissary quests each day, and leveling their gear. Mentalbrit actually made it to 120 this week, and boy, what a difference that makes. She then did a Warfront, and then LFR. I really don't understand Warfronts too much, but she got a 370 piece from that. She also picked up a couple of upgrades in LFR too. So she zoomed from 320 to 332 pretty quickly. Lavabrit at least made it past 330, and is now at 306.

Mentalbrit is also slowly getting Champions of Azeroth and Tortollan rep for Pathfinder. They're getting pretty close to revered now.

On the gold front, I bought 3 more tokens this week (at about 107K each), on Ghostlands. This brought it in line with Darenor as having 7 500K characters. I'm now paid up through July next year. Nearly all the gold this week is from Selling BFA materials, and from quests from leveling.

My 2nd level 120!!

Hi,

Yes!! Lavabrit made it to 120 this week. I remember now why I was leveling a Shaman, when I really don't like the gameplay. It's because she had Alchemy :) Oh well, she's 120 now and doing the Emissary stuff just like Mentalbrit is. No more Shamans now, it's all Warlocks and Hunters.

Talking of Warlocks, I'm leveling on Horde now. I got Lockybrit to 114 before I realized I wanted to park her in Orgrimmar to do auctions. So, I started leveling Voidbrit, and she's 115 now. I really don't like the start of the first Horde zone. It's all in the Temple area, and there are hardly any Herb or Ore nodes. Once out in the zone though, it's fine, and the story with all the beasts is a lot of fun. Vol'dun is really fun too.

I've been working on Pathfinder on Mentalbrit too. She got to Revered for the 7th Legion this week, and finished the War Campaign.

So, all that is left to be done is getting all the reputations to Revered. I've only got Champions of Azeroth and Tortolan Seekers to get to Revered now. It will probably take a week or two more. There's no rush really, because the stuff we've seen about 8.1 doesn't mention flying at all. Mentalbrit is gearing up too. She got to 318. So close to 320, which is required for Warfronts, and LFR. I guess she should be doing Heroic Dungeons now, but she has only done regular dungeons for profession quests.

I'm also leveling a bit on Draenor, just to make some gold. I want to buy tokens on either Draenor or Ghostlands, so I want to get gold up to over 100k on those realms, while getting more gold on Silver Hand and Garrosh.

I've also been doing a little leveling of lower level characters too on Silver Hand. Maniacbrit made it to 53, and Bonkersbrit made it to 31.

I also did some Uldum for Volatile life on Ghostlands, getting enough for a few more Hyjal bags.

Now for gold:

Just some regular gold this week from selling herbs, ore, and some skinning stuff. I made a mistake a while back on the Draenor toons. I have 7 x 500k, not 8 x 500k. So the totals are going to look a bit funny this week, but finally correct.

Silver Hand: Base - 500K x 3, 2K x 3. Mentalbrit: 362,032
Garrosh: Base: 500K x 1, 2K x 4. Shammybrit: 380,548
Ghostlands: Base: 500K x 8, 2K x 2. Mageybrit: 38,462
Draenor + EI: Base: 500K x 7, 2K x 4. Pallybrit: 73,941

Overall Base: 9.5 Million + 26K => 9,526,000
Characters: 854,983

That's a total of 10,380,983.
