Leveling Across The Board!!

Hi,

Yep, I'm back, and playing more than ever. I'm leveling lots of characters on all the realms I play on. I'm still sticking to Hunters and Warlocks though, even though I think that Hunters got a bit of a shaft with the latest scaling changes.

On Silver Hand, I'm leveling Battybit and Mentalbrit. They both made it to level 100 this week. Here's Mentalbrit getting her artifact.

Yay!

Of course, Battybrit got hers too. I remembered pretty much everything about the artifact quests, so they were a breeze. On Garrosh, I'm leveling Felbrit, who also got to 100 and got her Artifact. I'm also leveling Battybrit. Because of scaling, I decided to try Northrend at level 60. It's really fun. She got to 64 and is about to hit Dragonblight.

The only problem is that she's leveling mining and Blacksmithing. She's still getting Cobalt fragments at over 300 mining, which is stupid. You can smelt Cobalt at 275 now, and you get Cobalt Blacksmithing recipes at 275 too. Blizzard really messed up.

On Ghostlands, I'm leveling my Hunter, Huntingbrit. She didn't have 4 Champions yet, and I realized that it was tied to the Class campaign. So she got that done and now has the 4 Champions, and got to 107 too.

Battybrit, Mentalbrit, and Felbrit all got to 103 and got their 4 Champions too.

I've also been sniping Gold missions on my level 110s. I log on to each of them in the morning, and if they have a gold mission, they do it. If they don't, they don't do anything. On Ghostlands it's a bit different, because Lockybrit and Voidbrit haven't got all their Champions maxed out yet. So they're doing all them missions they can. If any character gets to less than 4K Order Resources, I send them out to do some World quests to get more. Voidbrit's still working on her Class Campaign too, not having unlocked 6 Champions yet.

I'm not totaling up all the gold I have yet. I might do that next week. I only have 9 days left on my subscription. I guess I'll pay for 6 months again. I don't want to pay 199K for tokens.

Special Wednesday edition.

I was having fun getting my appetite back for the game and making great progress on leveling. I got Mentalbrit to level 100 and got Battybrit to 98 and Beastybrit to level 58.

Then the patch dropped. 7.3.5.

The leveling changes are horrible. I played Beastybrit to 58 and it was so monotonous. It took about twice as long to kill each mob, and I needed to use Heal Pet over and over.

Then I played Battybrit in Spires of Arak. It was even more horrible. It took about 3 times as long to kill each mob and heal pet, heal pet, heal pet.

So, the changes didn't make it more challenging, interesting, or anything. They just made it more boring, monotonous and more of a pain.

I used to have fun leveling. It was my favorite part of the game. Oh well. I'm done for now.

Back to Guild Wars 2 I go.

DMF!!

Hi,

The major thing this week was getting all my characters through DMF. Phew! I do the profession quests and if the character has 700 fishing, the fishing quest too. I just managed to get them all through before Saturday.

Mentalbrit, Battybrit, and Flebrit all continued to do their garrisons for their professions. Felbrit has a level 1 mine to keep stocked with Ore for Engineering, but Mental and Batty are just using GRs to buy stuff they need to level Enchanting and Leatherworking. All of them have done the Pinchwhislte Gearworks quest chain in Spires of Arak, and are moving slowly towards level 100. Note that I'm totally ignoring all rares and bonus objectives. Just doing quests and the occasional cooking and fishing dailies in Stormwind City.

Beastybrit got to level 51 doing DMF, but she hasn't gone to Kalimdor yet. Maybe soon.

Slowly, slowly!!

Hi,

Sooo slow. I got Beastybrit to 50, Battybrit to 97, and Mentalbrit and Felbrit both to 98. That's about it. It was so nice not having to bother getting all the followers for each zone. Mentalbrit and Felbrit have done Talador up to the battle with Blackhand. I always enjoy that scenario. It seems to have changed though. You have to avoid all 4 of Blackhand abilities that smash the things to hide behind. It used to finish after just one IIRC.

So, again. Not much WoW this week. I actually started playing a bit of GW2 this week :) And of course, there was Hearthstone and Civ6 to keep me busy. Oh, and writing my Golf Simulator for the iPhone.

Happy New Year!! May 2018 be happy and prosperous for all of you out there!

In WoW news, I've got bogged down in Draenor. I don't know what it is, but I'm had a hard time motivating myself to play Gorgrond and get the characters into Talador and Spires of Arak. It's going really slowly. 

I have got Felbrit's Engineering and Mining on the move though, and she is mining in the garrison to raise her mining skill.

It's crazy that she is level 95 already, and hasn't even touched Gorgrond yet. Mentalbrit has finished Gorgrond and is level 96. Battybrit has done some Gorgrond and is level 95.

The other thing I did was get Beastybrit to level 47 in Western Plaguelands. She's ahead of the leveling curve now. I usually get to the Badlands at level 46.

So, that's about it. Not much WoW this week.

Well, I got a bit of a break between opening presents and going to friends for Christmas Dinner/Lunch to update my blog. The Kahlua coffees and Mimosas to go along with the Bacon Butties were great.

So, Happy Christmas (and Merry Christmas) to you all.

I guess the news for this week is that I've stopped playing my level 110s to bring in the gold. It was getting very boring doing World Quest after World Quest and taking away time from leveling.

My leveling has slowed down somewhat too. I'm not playing as much, but continuing to play a bit to move the characters along. All three of my leveling characters completed Shadowmoon Valley and are ready for Gorgrond. Felbrit and Mentalbrit made it to 94, but Battybrit's just a bit behind at level 93. They're all going to do minimal Garrison stuff. Just got them to level 2, and only build the profession building to level their professions. Just save all the gold for later.

I also leveled Beastybrit to level 40 and got her faster riding. She's well ahead of the curve, having only just started Eastern Plaguelands.

That's about it. Leveling. leveling and more leveling. No interest in high level content, and bring on the next Expansion.
