Gold, Gold, Gold!!

Hi,

Yeah. It was all about the Gold this week. I really focused on gold making and really didn't do much else other than a little leveling, and a little Nazjatar. I've basically stopped doing Nazjatar while I try to make as much gold as possible.

I told you about the raw gold making opportunity last week. It came from the following video.

It's basically running WoD and Pandaria Raid instances using the NPCs that allow you to do LFR. I've really had a lot of fun doing this on all my 120s. You might find it monotonous or boring, but for raw gold it's absolutely fabulous!

You run about 4 Raid instances in WoD and 6 Raid instances in Pandaria, and net about 4-5K just from getting gold from the bosses and vendoring all the items you get. So that's 40-50K for my 10 level 120s :)

I also sold tons of BFA mats this week. The best selling was on Ghostlands, but I sold lots of stuff on 3 out of my 4 realms, netting almost 100K.

There were also some 2K Emissaries this week, including a Tortolan one late in the week. So, overall, it was an amazing week for making gold.

I did level Lunaticbrit to 90, and played Dementedbrit a bit to get her close to 90, but she's at 89 at the moment. I didn't level Stabbybrit at all, and am questioning whether she will be my next 120. I think I'd rather it be a Warlock, Hunter, or Priest. So maybe I'll level Priestybrit on Garrosh to get my first Priest at 120.

A New Gold Making Opportunity!!

Well well. While I was searching for ways to make gold in 8.2, I came across a video that gave a different way to make gold in BFA. And here it is: It's doing WoD Raid bosses from an old LFR that you can enter via an NPC in your Garrison.

So, what you can do is enter the bottom 3 LFRs. They are very quick bosses. Then, do the Imperator's Rise one (3rd down). With the gold you get from defeating the bosses, plus vendoring all the drops, you get about 750-800g. I've done this on my Ghostlands 120s for now. I'll do it on all my 120s in the next day or so. You can only enter 10 instances each hour, but that's not a major problem.

Oh yeah, I did get another 120 this week. That's right, Huntingbrit made it to 120. She immediately got several pieces of Benethic gear from Lockybrit, and then went to Nazjatar to get a 370 Bow and to get better geared up. Rings and Trinkets are going to be the things that lag behind now, seeing as I don't do Mechagon, but that's OK.

I sent every one of my 120s into Nazjatar this week too. They all get the Silver Knife from a Arcane Chest in the falls just south of the Alliance Nazjatar base. Then they do the quests to open up the puzzle quests. They also make sure to find the crew, getting their 6th champion. Then doing 3 follower quests and getting their follower to level 3 eventually.

So, I didn't really do much leveling at all this week, other that Huntingbrit. I did decide on my next 120 though. With all the Barnacled Lockboxes I'm getting, I decided that it better be a Rogue. I started leveling Stabbybrit on Garrosh. I really don't like the Rogue game play, but I'm going to need to open those Lockboxes. She made it to 111 and is questing in Drustvar.

That's about it. No 2K Emissary this week, and no selling of mats.

Bought 2 More Tokens!!

Hi,

I had enough gold on Ghostlands that I would go over 500K on Priestybrit this week if I didn't spend some. I tried to get the tokens as low as I could, and when it dipped below 130K I bought a couple for about 128K each.

I got back to leveling a bit, but continued to do Nazjatar on both Lockybrit and Voidbrit to get Mana Pearls all week. Just doing the Ally quests and puzzle ones. I leveled Huntingbrit up to level 118 and she's still questing in Vol'Dun. Oh my gosh, leveling in BFA is just SOOOOO much better with flying. Some of the more annoying quests before are now a breeze. I also got Zandybrit and Madbrit to level 90, and Lunaticbrit to level 89. No other leveling this week.

When I saw that the Nazjatar Emissary quest on Alliance gave 2000g, I decided to send another couple of Alliance there to get the 2000g before it went away. I went with Felbrit and Draenybrit on Garrosh. I might well send all my characters there soon, because of the 370 Staff/Gun/Sword you get from the opening quests.

Nazjatar doesn't seem so bad now with flying, and not doing all the annoying collect quests any more. I hardly ever die there these days, and even do the Jumping Jellies daily even now and again. If there a a kill WQ that rewards Benthic Gear or Mana Pearls, I'll do them too.

Sold some Nazjatar mats this week, but not many. Not much selling of anything. There were quite a few 2000g Emissary quests on Horde this week though. Good stuff.

I Haz Flying!!

Hi,

Yay, I didn't think I'd get it this quick. I got Rustbolt to Revered on Thursday, but still needed a couple of K for the Nazjatar one. I was left with just less than 1K on Friday, so I was pretty sure I'd get it on Saturday. But, after doing all the World and Follower quests, I was 11,945/12,000. Damn!! But, I didn't realize that I had a crab leg in my inventory that someone might be interested in. Boom, handed it in and got about 75 rep. FLYING!!

 This was the next day, continuing to get Mana Pearls to gear up all alts.

After finishing Rustbolt, I vendored all my Mechagon stuff and vowed never to go there again. Oh, part of that is because I crafted another item and got another Trinket. That's two trinkets in a row, when I needed rings. Stupid Blizzard not making it so you can choose. That's why Nazjatar is so superior. 9 specific pieces of gear, not some random ring/trinket.

I started Nazjatar on Horde too. Lockybrit made it there, and did quests and got stuff to open up the Puzzle quests. I really like those puzzle quests (uncrossing lines, and destroying runes). It's a pit you need to loot something from an Arcane chest to open them up though. I did get to Rank 2 on Zin'anthid, but still no luck getting to Rank 2 on Osmenite at all. I know exactly what needs to be done, but the crystals always seem to be in place, and no Avarius.

Anyway, I really do like Nazjatar, even though mobs sometimes swarm so much that you can die pretty often. Now that I have flying, it's great to fly from World Quest to World Quest to get them done.

Now that I have flying, I go bak on Huntingbrit on Ghostlands, and leveled her quite a bit. She made it to 115. Other leveling was Frostybrit to 88, and Kultiranbrit to 87. Now that grinding rep is over, it's time to get back to leveling.

Gold making too. Nazjatar is great for that too. I only sold Nazjatar mats this week, and made about 50K doing so. There was also a 2K Tortolan quest this week, which I did on all characters.

Having Fun in 8.2!!

Yes. Mechagon and Nazjatar are fun. I don't mind dying tons of times in Nazjatar because I do stupid things, but I'm grinding out the rep in both zones and making great progress towards flying. I've done both the Explore achievements, and I'm about 4000/12000 towards Revered on both factions right now.

Voidbrit in The Junkyard in Mechagon

I don't really know which zone I prefer. I think it's Mechagon, because of some of the horrible stuff you have to do for quests in Nazjatar. The Mechagon quests are quicker and give more rep, but now I've opened up the puzzle quests in Nazjatar, rep's doing pretty quick there too. I like collecting all the stuff in Mechagon and building the rigs etc. I crafted one ring/trinket and unfortunately it was a Trinket. But I'm hoping for a ring for the next craft.

I've been pretty much just playing Voidbrit the whole week. She got tons of Manapearls and got lots of Benethic gear. She made it to 392. She's also sent a lot to other Alliance 120s. It will be great once other characters make it to 120, because they can be geared with 385s immediately.

Voidbrit hasn't done anything else at all relating to 8.2. Just not interested in anything other than getting flying right now.

Not much leveling at all this week. Lightbrit made it to 88 and a tiny bit on Frostybrit who made it to 86 in Jade Forest.

That's pretty much it. I even ignored some 2K Emissaries this week :) Sold some Zin'athid, which was great. But I didn't sell anything else.
