It's 8.2 Day!!

Hi,

Yes, it's finally time for 8.2. Really, the only thing I care about is flying, so I'll be taking one character there, and working like crazy to get Pathfinder Part 2 complete. Then, I'll work on leveling as many characters to 120 as I can before the next expansion hits. I won't actually be able to play it today, as I'll be at work when it comes back up. But I will get started tomorrow.

So, who to take into Nazjatar and Mechagon? Well, it was going to be Mentalbrit on Silver Hand. She's my highest iLvL so it seemed like a good choice. But she has Skinning and Herbalism. I really want a Miner and Herber to go there. So, I settled on Voidbrit on Garrosh. I spent a lot of this week gearing up Voidbrit, and she's now 367, only 6 behind Mentalbrit's 373. She did lots of World Quests for gear, did some Emissaries for gear, and also did a couple of Assaults too. She also got to level 40 Azerite. I just haven't really worked on that at all. I guess the essence system will be interesting, but I only care about it getting easier to kill stuff and survive, so I can get flying easier.

What else is going on? I've been leveling of course. Nearly all my leveling characters got to 88 and over 2K gold. One thing that I've never concentrated on before. It's Pandaria Treasures. There are 4 in  Jade Forest that give about 100g. So that's about an extra 400g per character. I make sure to pick up all 4. I even went back on Lockybrit and got those, and a few more from other zones too.

Made it to Pandaria!!

Hi,

Lots of leveling this week. All characters made it to 85, which I consider a major achievement, and Zandybrit was the first to hit Pandaria. Zandybrit made it to 87, while all the other lowest level characters are at 85. It was 80-83 in Mount Hyjal, and then 83-85 in Uldum, doing the same quests on all characters. For Pandaria, I'll get them all to 88, and then get them all to 90 after that. I'll see how far I can get them all before 8.2 hits, and I'll need to concentrate on getting flying.

Zandybrit Ookin' Dookin'

My 120s didn't do a lot this week other than do missions for gold and Battle-scarred Runes. I did one round of selling mats again, but there's still a lot to sell, as many of them aren't selling. The prices on Ore and Herbs is way down from a month or so ago, but I still don't regret giving up all professions for Herbing and Mining, with a smattering of skinning.

A few of the level 87/85s got to 2K gold, so the base gold on a couple of realms have gone up.

Selling Some Stuff!!

Yes. I finally got around to putting all mats up on all 4 realms. It was a mixture of current Herbs, Ore, and Battle-Scarred Runes, and Outland and Northrend mats too. I'm done two rounds of selling so far (i.e. selling the stuff that din't sell the first time). As of now, about half the mats have sold. You'll see the results from the gold summary later on, but I made at least 100K this week.

In leveling, all my leveling characters made it to 80, and a few of them have now gone into Mount Hyjal and got to level 83. So, I've seen a lot of this place:

Dementedbrit in Mount Hyjal

None of them have got to 2K gold yet, so they aren't contributing to the gold base yet.

My 120s all did a Tortolan emissary to get 200 WRs this week. There were no 2K gold ones. So, they really didn't do a lot. A couple of them got some gear upgrades though. That's about it for this week.

Finally, a Staff!!

Hi,

Yes! I noticed when looking for WQs on one character for WRs that a Staff was a reward for killing Gulliver. So, I hopped on to both Nightbornebrit and Flictionbrit, and finally got them an upgrade from their 250 and 260 odd iLvL Staves :)

A nice bump for their item levels.

As for leveling, I got most of my characters to level 80, questing in Shloz Basin and Icecrown. I still have 3 characters that need to make it. The two on Garrosh, and the one on Draenor. They are all at about 650-1000 gold now when they hit 80, so it shouldn't be too long before they all make 2k :)

Of course, I carried on doing gold and Rune missions on all my 120s, and there was only one 2K gold Emissary on the Horde this week. So, almost no gold making at all. Still not selling any mats. I really need to try and sell old world mats from Outland and Northern too, from the characters that have made it to 80. Actually. I won't update the gold totals right now, because I can't get into the game to check right now
