Timewalking Gear - Wow!!

Hi,

Well, that was a cool surprise. I just decided to do the 'Do 5 timewalking dungeons' on Lockybrit. Lo and behold, she got a 365 drop from them. Wow! Let's see what the timewalking vendor has to offer. 350 gear, that's what. So, all my 120s did at least go to the vendor and get some 350 gear. My latest 120 (Voidbrit on Garrosh) actually had to do a dungeon to get the 500 badges so she could afford the stuff. Here's what it did to Lockybrit:

Other than that, I was leveling Looneybrit on Silver Hand, and Nbornebrit on Ghostlands. Looneybrit made it to 68 and then headed to Northrend. She's 69 now. Nbornebrit did something totally different. I decided to level Archeology on her, and this provided tons of experience. She made it to 300 Arch in Kalimdor and Eastern Plaguelands. Then she did Outland to get to 350 and now is doing more while she quests in Northrend. So, she's still questing in Borean Tundra but is level 78 :) Oh, by the way, she's still going back to Outland and Winterspring to level Herbing and Mining in Outland, and Mining in the old world.

The idea is to have her with maxed out Fishing, Cooking, Archeology, Herbalism, and Mining from each and every expansion. Fishing will probably be the hardest :)

OK, not much going on with gold making this week, but there was a 2k Alliance emissary this week. Also, Elfybrit sold a lot of old world mats from Nbornebrit this week. No selling of BFA mats this week. Oh, and I did buy another 2 Tokens this week when the price dipped to about 115K. That's 230K gone from Ghostlands this week.

Having Fun with Cooking!!

Hi,

I've been leveling Nbornebrit a lot this week, and decided to do something a little different with her. I decided that I'd level her professions all the way in each expansion, including cooking. It's been fun going round getting recipes and grinding for mats to level cooking for a change. She did make it all the way to level 69 this week, having pretty much finished with Outland. But she's still leveling cooking in both the old world and Outland.

Cooking

She's level 273 cooking in old world. More Bear Flanks to get, then she has some 275 recipes to learn.

As always now, Outland was a breeze. She only needed to do a bit of Zangamarsh and Nagrand to get to 68. Then she's been flying around getting recipes and mats for cooking to get well into 69.

Other than that, the 120s have been doing missions, looking for opportunities to get better gear, and keeping up with War Resources.

I've decided that I have so many characters now that I need to start level them. I'm going to start with all my characters on Silver Hand, I think, after I get Nbornebrit to level 100. I'm going to level them all to 100.

On the gold front, I've only done some AH stuff on Ghostlands this week. Made quite a bit off Runes, Herbs and Ore. There was only one 2K emissary this week, for the horde, pathetic.

Insurrection Complete!!

Hi,

Sorry about no blog post last week. I was sick and working a lot and not playing a lot, and there wasn't really enough to talk about. I did change pace though and decided to get Insurrection done on Lockybrit on Ghostlands. Two weeks ago she had just opened it up. About a week ago I finally got it complete. Not too bad at all. She then did the quests to get the Nightborne race opened up. So, now we have:

Nbornebrit

Of course it's a Warlock :). I've been playing her rather a lot lately, and I've got her up to level 38. I've been working on getting her mining and herring up to date by questing in a lot of the lower level areas. But now she's in Stranglehorn Vale, and is nearly ready to hit Western Plaguelands. It's been fun seeing things from the Horde side again. I haven't leveled a Horde character for soooooo loooong.

Before I stopped playing her, I got Elfyvoidbrit to level 70. She is ready to get faster flying, which will cost a bit of gold. But that will wait now until I've leveled Nbornebrit.

I have been doing missions and War Campaign on all my 120s, and Lockybrit got to Honorborne revered and got the 5th follower. Trying to keep up on War Resources on all the characters is a bit tough, but the 200 from Emissarys help, and Darkshore and Arathi are good places for them, having opened them up on Alliance.

Oh, I did do quite a lot of gearing up over the past two weeks. I made sure to get all the Timeless pieces I could on all my 120s, which really helped gear them up.

I haven't done much with gold at all over the last couple of weeks. I haven't really done any auctions and am just building up on herbs and ore and Runes lately. I guess I'll get back to that soon.
