Gearing Up!!

Hi,

I decided to try and gear up my level 120s a bit this week, focusing mostly on Felbrit on Garrosh. This was help immensely by a Staff actually being a reward from World Quest. She had been sitting with a level 277 one, and then this happened:

It's a 320 Staff!! Very nice. And a few upgrades later she was sitting at 320 iLvL overall. She did a battle of Stormgarde to get some more upgrades. She did LFR but didn't get any drops :( and now she's up to 328.

I've been working on the War Campaign on other characters too, for the gold from the quests, to get to the 5th follower, and for any herbs and ore along the way. Felbrit actually got to finish the War Campaign to get the 5th follower, and others are getting close.

I also leveled Elfyvoidbrit this week. She finished with Eastern Kingdoms and headed to Zangamarsh. All the mats that she'd collected are now in the guild bank, but I guess I'll try and sell them on the AH soon. She's questing fine in Outland now, and got to level 63 this week. 

In gold news, herbs, ore, and Battle-Scarred runes are all selling well. The missions are bringing in a steady drip of 200+ gold, and the War Campaigns are brining in a bit of gold too.

Hi,

Merry Christmas everyone, and I hope you all have a great Christmas tomorrow. I have the day off today and tomorrow, and working on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Anyway, what have I been up to this week? Well, making gold, leveling characters, and doing missions and keeping up with War Resources.

In leveling, I was hoping to get Elfyvoidbrit to 60 this week, but fell just short, getting to 56. Leveling is so quick now. The levels just fly by. I only have to do about 2/3 of the quests in each zone that I'm used to do. I'm leveling Elfyvoidbrit because I want another 120 Warlock. I just love the Affliction Warlock gameplay! A strange thing happened though. I was questing in Swamp of Sorrows, and was doing the quests in Sunken Temple. I got to Jammal'an the Prophet and dealt with him. I got the pop up quest to return to the surface, but then it wasn't in my quest log, and I didn't get ported out. What the heck! I submitted a ticket for this. Oh well, Blasted Lands next.

I continued doing gold missions, Battle-Scarred Augmented Rune missions, and 7th Legion/Honorbound missions this week.

Doing missions

There's a weird bug that I should submit though. A lot of the time, when I log into a character on a ship, they fall through the floor and are on the bottom deck of the ship. So annoying. Anyway, I made quite a bit of gold from missions this week. The 7th Legion/Honorbound missions are just to open up more War Campaign for characters and to level the followers. I'm getting closer to 200% for missions too, buying the +5% improvement for 200 War Resources.

Battle-Scarred Runes are falling in price, but all the herbs and ore are still selling quite well. Another character on Silver Hand is funded, so Battybrit is the new character getting funded.

Back to Doing Missions!!

Hi,

Yes, with the increase in gold of some of the missions, I decided to do them on all 120s now. In addition, there are Battle-Scared Rune missions. They are another source of gold.

Battle Scared Runes on Garrosh

They go for more on Silver Hand and Ghostlands too. I got this idea off googling for ways to make gold in BFA, and one was LFR with selling in the Runes. So, instead of doing LFR for them, I'm just getting them off missions when they show up. The gold increase on missions wasn't that much, but the highest I've seen is about 239g for a mission. I just need to make sure I keep up on War Resources when they get low on Characters. Oh, I know you can get a 5000g mission if you get Azerite from lots of Island Expeditions. But Island Expeditions are such boring content that I'm not willing to do that.

In other gold making news, there were 3!! 2K Emissaries for Horde this week, and 1 for Alliance. Also, I did do some farming for herbs, and also some fishing to sell fish. We'll see how that affects the  gold total later. Ohh, and I did buy two more Tokens this week, burning about 230K.

I did say I was going to level lower level characters, and I did level Beastybrit and Elfyvoidbrit this week. Beastybrit made it to level 78 in Outland, questing in Zangamarsh and then Nagrand. Elfyvoidbrit made it to level 43 in Western Plaguelands, and is about to hit Eastern Plaguelands.

On Felbrit, I did the Darkshore Scenario. What a waste of time, although she did get a 380 piece at the end of it. So long though. I'm also trying to level up other characters, but it's so painful a process.

In a Holding Pattern!!

Yeah, I'm pretty much in a holding pattern until 8.2 when flying comes to BFA. I'm not really into BFA much without flying. I'm not playing as much these days. I'm patiently leveling my Hunter on Ghostlands, but she's only gone up 2 levels over the last two weeks. She finally got to 50 Herbalism and 50 Mining though, so she's done all the Herb quests, and is still working on the Sancified Storm Silver Ore one.

I'm waiting until tomorrow to level my lower level characters. There is greatly reduced XP required in 8.1. Then I'll get back to all my characters that are lower than 110.

Other than that, there's nothing much to report. I tried gearing up Felbrit a bit, and got to 301. I sold some herbs and ore this week, and got some gold from left over quests on my 120s too. Oh, and there was finally a 2K emissary on Alliance this week, and one on the Horde too. Let's have a look at the gold now:
