Unlocking Allied Races!!

Hi,

I worked on getting Allied Races unlocked this week. Early in the week, I got Argussian Reach to Exalted and did the scenario to unlock Void Elves. Then, late in the week, I got Army of the Light to Exalted and did the scenario to unlock Lightforged Draenei. So, two new characters were created on Garrosh. Elfyvoidbrit and Lightbrit.

Early in the week. Getting Void Elves unlocked.

Oh I also unlocked Highmountain Tauren, but aren't going to start one of those. I don't like the Tauren female model at all.

The other big thing this week was that War of the Thorns opened up. I made sure to get all 20 of my 110s through it, and get them all some sweet 210+ loot. The rng on the World Quests in Darkshore is a bit messed up though. On the day I took my Hunter on Draenor through it, there were 3 Polearm quests, and one other. What a crock! Also, I did all of the intro quests on all my Alliance 110s, but skipped them on all Horde characters after the first. There is just way too much flying around on Horde side.

I leveled Voidbrit into Northrend, and she's at level 71 now. I leveled Elfyvoidbrit a bit in Redridge Mountains (to get Herbalism leveled a bit. The other prof she has is Inscription) and she's 24 now. Lightbrit is brand new and is still only level 20. She got Mining and Blacksmithing, and I'll transfer all stuff over from Platebrit soon, and delete Platebrit.

Other than that, I was continuing to do emissary quests on some Draenor characters, to get them enough Wakening Essence to upgrade their legendaries to 265. All done now. Now I'm just doing them on my Garrosh characters for more chance of gold, and a bit of gold from the quests.

BTW: I bought two more Tokens this week when the price dipped below 200K (got them for about 194K each).

The Pre-Patch is Here!!

Hi,

The pre-patch dropped last Tuesday, and after some teething troubles with not being able to log on, we finally got a chance to get used to it.

Well, I was quite happy that the Affliction Warlock play style didn't really change much. I was concerned about the Drain Soul healing going away, but for questing, you don't really need it, and Drain Life is there if you really need it. The drop in mana cost is really great, and you hardly use any mana over time. Stat scaling seems to have been well done.

Now, let's talk about gold. The gold missions from the Order Halls are gone. The Champion equipment for Combat Allies have been nerfed to 10g, 5g and 2g. However, a couple of gold things have hung around that I want to make you aware of.

First, you have a 50/50 chance to get about 420+g from emissary caches. I guess that Blizzard thought that this was still reasonable, given that you have to do 3 or 4 WQs to get them.

The other thing I've noticed is that this week's World Boss (Humongris in Val'Sharah) still is giving 446g.

I also cleared out Priestybrit's bags, and did an ICC run this week. It only produced 1.1K though (well with an additional 177 Frostweave Cloth), so I don't think I'm doing that any more.

The other thing is that Hexweave Bags are more in demand than before, and the prices are rising. 2400g on one of the realms I play on, when you couldn't sell them for more than 2K before.

Other than gold, I've been taking all my Warlocks into Argus. I have about 4 on the go right now. The idea is to make gold, and get more geared up for BFA. I think I'll take an army of Warlocks into BFA :). Oh yes, and leveling my new Warlock on Garrosh more. She's up to level 69 now. I've been leveling her tailoring making First Aid bandages :). One more thing. I got to 1000 Wakening Essence on Trappybrit and Priestybrit, and got them their 2nd Legendaries.

Felbrit is still working on getting the Argus reps to Exalted this week. She is getting very close now, and should open up Lightforged Draenei and Shadow Elves very soon. Then I will start two more characters on Garrosh. A Lightforged Draenei Paladin (and may delete Platebrit), and an Shadow Elf Warlock.

Finally, A Herb Trader!!

Hi,

LOL yeah. I finally got a herb trader on Shammybrit this week. So, she got the Sorcerous Tome and quickly generated 400 Sorcerous Earth from other Sorcerous stuff. This enabled Priestybrit to create tons of Hexweave Bags, some of which I sold this week. I'm still keeping a lot for when BFA hits though. I'm hoping the gold I can get from them will rise.

In other news, I did level Voidbrit on Garrosh a lot this week. I got her into Outland, and she's now level 61. I found out a really good thing about scaling this week. She got to 59 doing most of the Blasted Lands quests, and I didn't want to do any more there. So, she went to Wetlands, and started questing there to get to 60 :). Oh, BTW, because Shammybrit got the Herb Trader, I switched her from Alchemy to Tailoring. It'll be nice to have two tailors on Garrosh to make Hexweave Bags :)

Felbrit continued doing everything possible to get Augaussian Reach reputation to unlock Void Elves. She got to Revered and is now about 7000/25000 for Exalted.

Oh, I bought another token (about 209K) and bought some Battlenet balance. Then I used that to get my 2nd account one month of game time, to get Voidbrit into the guild. I'm hoping that I can get Void Elves opened up before the month runs out.

The gold making is still going well, but I think it will dry up considerably tomorrow. I think that all gold missions from Order Halls will be going away with the pre-patch, along with other gold making World Quests and stuff. So, I'm going to have to figure out other ways to make gold over the next 4 weeks before BFA gets here.

My New Warlock!!

Hi,

I missed leveling LOL :) So, I started a new Human Warlock on Garrosh. I decided I wanted another Warlock to do Argus on on Garrosh, and I decided to give her Alchemy for more chances at the garrison Herb Trader (still haven't got it on Shammybrit yet LOL). I named her Voidbrit. I'm getting very lazy with names. I already have a Voidbrit on Ghostlands, but whatever. I got her to 35 this week. I must say that leveling has been slowed down a bit. I'm having to do more quests in each zone to level the same amount as before. She would easily be 36 with leveling the way it was before, but needs to do many more quests in Stranglehorn Vale to get there. Another thing about scaling. It's just pointless for anyone with a gathering profession. All the herbs and ore are the same levels as before, so there's no point going anywhere out of order. What a stupid thing for Blizzard to do.

Voidbrit

In other news, I got all my characters through DMF this week. Professions are so horrible in Legion that this is the way they get leveled. I do hope that Legion is different, but not counting on it.

In other news, other than daily stiff, I'm taking two more Warlocks into Argus. Mentalbrit on Silver Hand, and Lockybrit on Ghostlands. Oh yeah, and now that Felbrit unlocked the Netherlight Crucible, I've started taking most of my characters to do the first few quests to get aboard the Vindicator, so that they can upgrade their Relics.

No gold update or complete character update this week, because I can't log in now because of DDOS attacks. I did buy a token though, and got 30 days more time. Also, I'm trying to figure out how to get more time on my WOW2 account, so that I can get Voidbrit into the guild. I may wait until I can unlock the two new Allied races though. I rather fancy the idea of a Void Elf Warlock :)

My 19th and 20th Level 110s!!

Hi,

Yes. That's right. I got both Trappybrit on Ghostlands and Priestybrit on Garrosh to level 110 this week. They were one day apart. That's 20 110s now, and enough for me. I'll just play them until Battle For Azeroth hits. I completed the Class Campaigns on both of them too, and got 2400 Nethershards for the level 800 Champion gear. They both have 6 Champions now, and are working on getting 10K Order Resources to unlock the 7th Champion. They've also been doing World Quests to gear up, and buying some dauntless tokens with more Nethershards too.

In other news, I decided to take my Warlock on Garrosh into Argus. Fengsuibrit on Draenor has been getting more gold missions than others because she opened up Argus. So I decided to do it on Garrosh, as I need a lot more gold over there. Here she is, on the Vindicator:

She also ground out 650 Veiled Argunite for a level 910 Trinket.

Other than this, I've been selling Legion mats again, and putting up 5 Hexweave Bags on each realm too. They only sold on one though. But the Legion mats are selling nicely and bringing in some extra gold.

For my daily stuff, Shammybrit still!! hasn't gold the Herb Trader in her garrison. I bet I missed that while I wasn't playing for a week recently. Sigh.
