Really Having Fun!

Hi,

I'm still really having fun playing only one character. My Hunter Fengsuibrit is having such a good time doing World Quests, trying to get rep with all the different factions, and taking time on the Broken Shore to do Legionfall rep. She's also made quite a bit of gold just from doing this stuff. About 14K this week. Not enough to keep up with the Token price, but I'm putting that aside for now. She also got up to ilvl 868 after buying one of those 880 pieces with Nethershards.

What else is there to say? Nothing much except she did a bit of Midsummer festival also, desecrating a few Horde fires for upwards of 19g each.

She's getting closer to flying, only needing one more thing for Good Suramartarian. The rep she's lowest on is Wardens, so she needs to get moving on that. She finished the Explore the Broken Shore, and so I think there's only Rep left now. Just grinding it out.

Something Completely Different!

Hi,

I tried something completely different this week. I just played Fengsuibrit, my 'getting flying' Hunter all week. I didn't play another character at all.

Fengsuibrit did lots and lots of stuff. Made progress on Good Suramartarian, Class Hall quest line, Leatherworking quests, World Quests, Legionfall (a bit), and all sorts of stuff. She also cleared up old quests by doing some Heroic Dungeons. In doing all this, she got to iLvL 856, which make doing stuff on her so much easier:

A couple of frustrations this week. First, the Leatherworking quest to Ride the Elkhorn. OMG, what a horrible quest. After trying it a couple of times and failing it, I abandoned it and will never pick it up again. Then, to get more rep with Nightfallen, I was doing Withered Army training. I was doing really well. I was up to 19 Withered and a really good score. Then, for some reason, I got kicked out of the game. When I got back in, I was just back in Shal' Aran and no rewards at all. I submitted a ticket, but the response was that they can't give me anything back. You suck Blizzard.

That's about it. Nothing to report on Gold. Just about 10K from all the stuff Fengsuibrit did. I guess I'll have to get back to gold making this week.

DMF and Old Raids!

Well, it was DMF this week. I actually didn't get all my characters through it for the first time in a long time. I just didn't see the point. On any non 110s, it's just a bit of XP. So, I did it on my 110s, most of my 101s, but not the Ghostland ones, and I did on Garrosh, but not on Silver Hand for those leveling up.

The other thing I did lot of this week was running old Raids for gold. I did ICC, TOC, Firelands, and Bastion of Twilight. Firelands and BoT are great for the 110s, because they ran them as 25H. The 101s could only do them on 25N. That's about a 40g difference per boss.

Anyway, I saw a lot of this:

Overall, I didn't do as much of this as I should have, to keep up with the gold making. I'm developing an iPhone app (a cricket simulator) that I put a lot of time into. Also, we're getting ready to move to Florida, so I had to do a lot of prep for that too.

I did manage to progress a bit more towards flying. Fengsuibrit did the Arcway, and got two quests completed there. But she still needs to do Court of Stars to make more progress.

All to 101!

Hi,

I spent most of the week getting all the characters on Ghostlands through the first section of Azsuna and to 101. This opens up your class hall missions and a few quests to run a few missions and get an artifact trait . And. of course, to open up their profs to 800. Then, they all went over to Timeless Isle and started answering Lore questions. 

I didn't spend much time on Fengsuibrit, but did enough to get to 8000/12000 Honored/Revered for Nightfallen. This opens the next bit of the Good Suramartarian quest line. Although a couple of quests later, you need 1200 Ancient Mana to progress, and she doesn't have that yet.

Late in the week, I decided to stop doing the Timeless Isle question stuff on all the characters any more. For 30 characters, this was bringing in about 9K for the week. Not bad, but I decided to do other activity to get that 9K and more, each week. For example, running old Raids. I did actually run ICC and Bastion of Twilight on Priestybrit (Ghostlands) this week, which brought in about 1.6K.

The token price is getting really high. It's over 120K right now, so keeping the gold rolling in will be quite a bit of my activity each week.

Here's how the gold looks now:
