10 leveled Horde 100s!

Hi,

Yep, I got my final 2 to 100 yesterday. Leveling is now over until Legion. I can at last focus on the other parts of the Master Plan that need attention. Magey and Combat leveled in lockstep, until they did Spires of Arak. This was because Magey got the Treasure Map from a follower mission. She leveled much faster than Combat, collecting tons of treasures. She hit 100 on the first few quests of Nagrand, getting Lantressor as a follower. Combat had to delve much deeper into Nagrand, but was only had to do about 10 quests more.

When they got to 100, they had tons and tons of Baleful gear to open up. This brought Magey to 640 and Combat to 641. I'll concentrate on gearing them up more in the week to come.

What I was doing each morning (other than missions and trapping) was the Winter Veil dailies, as I described last week. I did them on all 8 100s, and did them on Magey and Combat too, this morning. I've now amassed tons of Medallions, Elixirs of Rapid Mind, and Frozen Arms. I'll probably use the Medallions and Frozen Arms, and try to sell the Elixirs after the event is well over.

I was good about doing Kazzak systematically. I did Kazzak on my first 5 characters last week. Maybe I can squeak in a couple more before the reset tomorrow. This netted quite a bunch of Felblight, and I made some level 5 gear upgrades this week.

Other than that, the Raid weekly was Slagworks, and I did that on a few characters. Priesty also farmed wolves for Sumptuous Fur, and funneled gold to Magey and Combat to help them get their garrisons set up.

Trappybrit finally got the 1200 GRs for the level 3 War Mill, and will soon replace the Trading Post with a Barn and will start trapping.

I was able to play a bit over Christmas, and the weekend, even though we had a lot going on. I hope you all had a great Christmas, and Happy new Year for later this week. Let's see how the Master Plan is going.

Winter Veil is here!

Yep, Winter Veil is here. But it's not the normal Winter Veil, where you go and collect presents and stuff, it's all about the Frostfire Ridge dailies now:

Winter Veil Dailies

These are new in 2015 and are an absolutely awesome addition. You get 4 Dailies. They award a total of 5 Merry Supplies. These can be turned in for a Savage Gift. A Savage Gift can contain: 300 GRs, or 300 Oil, or 1000 Apexis, or Frozen Arms of the Hero (increase follower ilvl by 50 in armor and weapon), Rapid Elixir of the Mind (increase XP for 1 hour), Mediallion of the Legion (increase rep with all Draenor factions by 1000), or Minion of Gumpus (small chance at this sellable mount). So, doing it on my 8 Horde 100s, I get 8 Savage Gifts, and am getting tons of good stuff. I usually target 1 character who is low on GRs or Oil, and send all the Merry Supplies to them, and get all the Gifts on them. It's all worked out rather well. And there's still another 12 days of it or something.

I also leveled up Mageybrit and Combatbrit quite a lot this week. They both fully completed Frostfire Ridge. Then they completed Gorgrond questing, and a couple of bonus objectives. Then they moved on to Talador, did all the quests up to Battle of Shattrath, then got Pleasure Bot 4000 and did one bonus objective and got to 96, and now have level 2 Herb Gardens. Combatbrit also got to 700 Mining.

On my 100s, I also did quite a few Tanaan Dailies, and did Kazzak on a few of them, and got quite a few through Walled City for the Saurfang quest. I got 20K Apexis on a few, and made some Baleful upgrades for my lower geared 100s and got their iLvL up a bit. Of course, I was still trapping, and selling tons of stuff, and farming wolves near the garrison etc. I made quite a lot of gold this week, but can't detail it yet, because the Remote Auction House is down so I can't see the gold on my characters. I'll have to fill this in tonight when I can see in game (estimate now is it's about 900K). With the farming of the wolves, I got enough Sumptuous Fur to get my remaining 100s to 700 in First Aid (buying the Scorpion Segments from the Trading Post when they were 4 GRs each).

I should work on getting Rep, but may wait to see how many Medallions I get :)

Slow Leveling!

Hi,

Yep, not a lot of leveling happened this week. Getting Magey and Combat to 90 really took the pressure off having to level in the mornings to avoid the worst of CRZ. So, without that impetus. I played my 100s a lot this week, and only leveled Magey and Combat sparingly. I did get them both to 92 though. They did most of Frostfire Ridge, and got their Garrisons upgraded, and both got level 2 Mines set up. They also started working on their professions. So, my mornings were mostly spent doing this:

Locky trapping Riverbeasts

Trapping Riverbeasts (Locky and Hunting) or Clefthooves (Beasty). Trappy is not getting a barn until she has her garrison nearly all upgraded. She's using a Trading Post now. I trap until I've got 26 crates. Doing 6 a day, that means that after 3 days, they'll be down to 8, and will trap to 26 again. Once I have 4 trappers, they'll be down to 2, before I need to trap again.

So, what did I do? First, it was a Timewalking weekend, so Trappy did a Timewalking dungeon and got geared up with some 675s. I also took some others to the Timewalking vendor, to get pieces they hadn't got yet.

Another thing was doing Tanaan for Apexis to upgrade gear. I got a lot of baleful gear upgraded on various characters this week. A few also got in Kazzak groups for some Felblight. Also, because the weekly quest was Walled City, I had a few go through that. That's 154g + 61g from the quest, plus any loot, plus a spoils chest. Very quick runs now.

Huntingbrit and Voidbrit also got their Garrisons fully upgraded to level 3. So now, any gold they make is just going towards the 5M. Hunting also got Engineering to 700, crafting a lot of Megawatt Filament.

I was also doing missions and garrison chores, and shipyards on Priesty, Beasty, Shammy, Elfy, and Locky. This was bringing in plenty of gold. I also sold tons of stuff on the AH, and gold has increased 101K this week. Bang on target! One thing I also did was stop playing Pallybrit totally. I want to concentrate on the Master Plan. No diversions.

No CRZ for me now - EVER!!

Hi,

How, you ask? That's by getting both Mageybrit and Combatbrit to 90 over the weekend. They both did Pandaria lockstep. I'd quest on Magey a bit. Then I'd do exactly the same stuff on Combat. Then did lots of Mount Hyjal, a little bit of Deepholm for a change, and then finished off in Kun-Lai, making sure to get the Grmmlepack (24-slot bag). Magey actually went a bit further and went into Draenor, got the Garrison set up, and got to 91. So, now that all my characters are finished with MoP, I will never be leveling in CRZ zones ever again. Just Draenor now (no CRZ), and Legion once it launches (no CRZ). It's such a great feeling.

I also got Trappybrit to 100. She did complete Spires of Arak, and then did Skyreach, and a bit of Nagrand to get to 100. She was 23 GRs short of having 2000 to upgrade the garrison, so she went back and killed some more rares for GRs. She also went and got a couple more followers, so she's now at 19/20 (and will get another one from completing Talador soon).

I did Kazzak on 4 characters this week. Got quite a bit of Felblight, and Priesty made the first Savage Essence and upgraded a piece to 6/6. Another thing that was awesome was that Elfybrit got a 711 neck piece off Kazzak. The bad thing was that she had 695 crafted neck (4/6 and upgrade twice with Valor). Dammit. What to do. I decided to replace the crafted (711 is the highest I've ever got), and then wasted 45 Savage Blood and 45 Sorcerous upgrading a new crafted ring for her. So silly, but done now, and no looking back.

While queuing for Kazzak, I was doing Tanaan on those characters, and getting Apexis and still got a few 695 upgrade tokens this week.

I also made tons of gold this week. Selling tons of crafted gear, mats, potions, flasks, fur, hides, basically anything I could get my hands on. A couple of notable other things this week to. I got the Blingtron mission on Beasty, who could make it 100% 4000g. I also got the 6000g Card of Omens just this morning on my Scribe. I made 96K this week. Still short of the 100K per week needed, but not everyone is contributing yet (i.e. fully maxed Garrison and not spending any thing). Hopefully Huntingbrit and Voidbrit will get there soon.

Oh, one thing I nearly forgot to mention. I've gone back to doing Shipyards on 3 characters, now that they've made improvements http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/20042694760. I got the level 3 shipyard on Shammy, and I've been getting quite a bit of gold, sorcerous, and Baleful gear since I started back up. Maybe I'll expand it to further characters soon.

A Small Master Plan Change

Hi,

Special mid-week post to announce that I'm giving up trying to get to 10M gold in the Master Plan. I worked out it would take at least 200K per week to be able to do it before Legino hits, and the goal of the Master Plan is to be complete by then.

So, I'm changing the !0M Gold to 5M gold. That's 500,000 on each character. To do this, I need to make about 100K per week, which is just about doable, but no easy task.

Just thought I'd let you know.
