My first level 120!!

Yes!! I just made it to 120 this morning.

120!

So, what lead to this?

Well, I started off with Alliance and did the starting scenario. Very nice. The cutscenes were excellent and the scenario was good because you got to loot stuff and get BFA materials. Got to Boralus Harbor and was gob-smacked. What a freakin' amazing place. It takes a bit of getting used to, but the guards are there to find stuff and it's well laid out. That was Mentalbrit on Silver Hand.

I then tried the Horde side. What a disappointment. The opening scenario is not great, and you can't loot anything. So, I'm going to skip it on every horde character. I'm going to do it on every Alliance one though, and have already done it on a couple more.

Mentalbrit started off in Stormsong Valley and I really like that zone. The quests are pretty much straight forward and she got the explore achievement and got the questing one too. Next up was Tirigarde Sound. Again, a really great zone, and the quests were great up until the 7th festival ones. OMG not again, riding on horses and jabbing stuff. I got the 150 points on the 3rd try, and thank god I checked wowhead and found out that the 300 pt one is not required for the zone quests.

So, I got to 119 there after doing tons of herbing and herbing quests too. I started off Dustvar. I really like that place too, but the number of side quests is infuriating. I completed tons of quests to get to 120, but am still only 1/10 for the zone quest achievement. But I think my order on other characters is going to be Stormsong Valley, Drustvar and finally Tirigarde Sound.

So, there we have it. 120 in just less than a week. I decided that instead of taking all my Warlocks there, I'd start off with my Silver Hand characters. So, I'm taking Insanebrit there next. I really like the professions in BFA and want to see what Tailoring is like, and then Alchemy etc. Enchanting (on Mentalbrit) is not a great one. Fishing is also good in BFA. In 10 minutes you get enough grey gear from fishing to make about 70g :)

I got Felbrit on Garrosh to 111. I wanted to see what mining was like too. It seems great too. Lots and lots of nodes around while questing.

So, what are other impressions? I haven't seen what 120 play is like yet but I like the Champions and mission table, and like the War Campaign too. I only tried one Island Expedition, but the reward from it just didn't seem like it was worth it. We did win it though. So, it'll probably be do what's required for pathfinder, and then done. Talking of Pathfinder, it doesn't seem too bad, and I'll work on that with Mentalbrit while I level other characters.

Let's see what happened to gold this week. My gold came from leveling to 120 (about 15K), and then from selling lots and lots of Hexweave Bags. Trying to sell all Legion Mats too, but not many are selling.
